On the first day of the project, our students, together with the students from Poland, Germany, Lithuania and Denmark, have listened to the presentation given by Biology and Global Politics teachers, which has helped them to understand the environmental issues of Denmark, as well as the rewilding projects of Ikast school that we are visiting.
Afterward, they discussed in groups the topics of biodivesity, rewilding, decline of diversity, interconnections between ecosystems and their vulnerability, and the change in the societies perspective on the environment. The final task was to prepare a conference, according to the Model United Nations approach, with the aim of presenting their proposals to the representatives of the Ikast City Hall.
