Today we learned about the rewilding project with the aim of re-balancing the ecosystem of the national nature park Mols. We also tasted ants picked directly from a tree!
Further on we visited the botanical gardens of Arhus, where we learned about legal and socio-cultural challenges the Danish scientists are faced with when promoting rewilding processes in Denmark. The last part of the day we visited DenGamleBy, a city museum in Arhus, a collection of 75 historical buildings from 20 different towns, and representing Danish urban life, from 1864 until 1974, with a special focus on the coffee commerce.
